Undergraduate Internships
Undergraduate Internships are not required, but they can provide an opportunity to combine work experience with college credit and take your educational experience to another level.
There are opportunities for internships all over town, and beyond; all that it takes to create your own internship is effort.
- First, you need to identify an organization that would be willing to have you as an intern.
- Next, you need to find a faculty supervisor who would be willing to oversee the academic side of the internship experience.
- Then you would need to complete the proper paperwork, and register.
Keep in mind that you will need to register for the course during the regular registration period for that semester. Internships cannot be accessed through Student Link; you will need a Change of Schedule form, signed by your faculty mentor, and returned to the department office in McClelland Hall 405RR, or to the registrar's office.
